How to delete ISP DNS cache
This is the problem which i faced almost many times when i bought a new domain for me and tried to install Wordpress into it. The real problem is initially the domain will be parked and it will only show up the ads. After we set up our name server of the host and install the Wordpress. The Domain is suppose to show the blog and not the ads again. But for me it showed ads only and not the blog. But when i used the proxy i could see my blog but without using the proxy i couldn’t see my blog and i know what is the reason for this.
This is not the problem of browser cache and this is the problem of ISP cache. I was searching through out the net for how to deleter the ISP cache or DNS cache. I found lot of solution but all didn’t work for me except one. but i think it worked for few other people. Here are the Methods which you can try for deleting the ISP cache.
1. Add ‘?’ at end of your URL which will flush the ISP cache.
2. Start->Run->Cmd
Type ipconfig /flushdns
net stop dnscache
net start dnscache
3. Goto Control Panel-> network connection
Right click on local area network and choose repair.
(this will also clear the DNS cache)
4. Go to Start
Go to Run
Type: services.msc
Click Enter.
Then locate “DNS Client”
Right click on it.
From there, click Restart
And the other one is setting up open DNS which worked for me and i will post about it in my next post.
